ABOUT

Rebecca is a multidisciplinary artist based in Melbourne, Australia. Her body of work explores themes of femininity, love, death, dreams and the unknown. She is inspired by stories and creatures from mythologies around the world, the otherworldly, and horror movies.

Drawing reference from personal photography, the Symbolist artists, and occult authors, her subjects are painted in an ethereal way, signifying our connection from this realm to the next. Her illustrative works are her personal takes on her most watched films or favourite characters.

In 2015, she was awarded Best Illustration in her Visual Arts Diploma and in 2019, she received her BFA in Fine Art, where she was awarded for her graduate installation/painting work. Her work is predominantly exhibited in Australia and can be found among private collections internationally. She works out of her studio in Melbourne on private commissions beside her cat, Miss.
